GOODBYE OUR FRIENDS
Euconnectour came to an end after plenty of experiences shared thoroughout 24 months. It is time to say goodbye and we have chosen what, in our opinion, is the best way to do it, by visiting our Imperial City, Toledo.
With our European Proyect "Euconnectour", we analysed the tourism potential of our respective regions and countries, assessing its multiple advantages, as well as the possible disadvantages that the tourist phenomenon entails. This is the reason why a group of students from our center visited the city of Toledo (a World Heritage City and center of tourist attraction of first international order). A perfect final touch to our project.
Through a guided tour along its most representative streets and neighborhoods, the students were able to assess the impact of the tourism phenomenon in situ, also learning about some aspects of the tourism industry, from the visit to a Tourism Information Center, to the offer of typical products, going through the tour guide's own work. They could also see the transformation suffered by the city as a response to the demands of tourism, its impact on the physiognomy, the economy and the very society of a
Toledo, to end up with another example of the tourist offer which try to attract visitors with the dramatization of one of the best-known legends of the ancient Imperial City.
A great way to close a great stage.
GOODBYE OUR FRIENDS!
