After two years of work, lots of kilometres covered and plenty of nice experiences shared our EuconnecTour project comes to an end, and the destination for our last transnational meeting has been Wieluń, in Poland.
From the 7th October to the 10th, two of our teachers, José Martín and Sagrario, have taken part in the evaluation meeting, with the rest of our other European partners, who have all reached the same conclusion: a resounding success.
Now it is time to say goodbye to all our new friends, life may bring us back together again one day though.

Después de dos años de trabajo, muchos kilómetros recorridos y montones de experiencias agradables compartidas, nuestro proyecto EuconnecTour llega a su fin, y el destino de nuestra última reunión transnacional ha sido WieluÅ„, en Polonia.
Del 7 de octubre al 10, dos de nuestros profesores, José Martín y Sagrario, han participado en la reunión de evaluación, junto con el resto de socios europeos, que llegaron a la misma conclusión: un éxito rotundo.
Ahora es el momento de decir adiós a todos nuestros nuevos amigos, aunque la vida puede volvernos a juntar un día. ¡Adios amigos nuestros!

Our project partners are visiting us this week. Nine teachers coming from England, Italy and Lithuania, together with eight students from those countries, are with us since last Sunday 4th March and are staying with us until next Friday 9th.
The European students are staying at our bilingual students' houses, which will become an unforgettable experience for the host families and a really valuable opportunity to practise and improve their English.
We have a very intense week ahead, visiting different landmarks in our region and a lot of moments to share with our European siblings.

The first of all of them was yesterday, in Toledo, with students from 2º ESO. After having travelled back in time along the Roman Road that went up to the Capital of the Empire, after having gone down the escalators facing the polluted Tagus river, after challenging the severe weather, after all that, a sunbeam came to say goodbye to the group, letting us take beautiful pictures of the city.
And there are still many more things to share!

Esta semana el IES Blas de Prado recibimos a nuestros compañeros del proyecto ERASMUS + "EUCONNECTOUR".
Nueve profesores provenientes de Inglaterra, Italia y Lituania, junto con 8 alumnos de dichos países, nos acompañan desde el pasado domingo 4 de Marzo y estarán con nosotros hasta el viernes 9.
Alojados en casas de nuestros chic@s bilingües, la estancia de estos alumnos europeos supondrá una EXPERIENCIA INOLVIDABLE para las familias anfitrionas y una oportunidad valiosísima para poner en práctica y mejorar su INGLÉS.
Nos espera una semana muy intensa, con visitas a diferentes puntos significativos de la geografía española y muchos momentos para compartir vivencias con nuestros HERMANOS EUROPEOS.
La primera de ellas, ayer en Toledo con los alumn@s de 2º de ESO. Después de haber viajado en el tiempo por calzadas romanas que subían a la Capital del Imperio y bajado por escaleras mecánicas al valle de un río Tajo un tanto contaminado, después de haber desafiado al tiempo, inclemente en este día, después de todo... un rayo de Sol quiso despedir al grupo permitiendo esta bonita foto de la ciudad.

Leek
​
Leek was our third destination in our project EuConnecTour. Teachers and students from the different member countries met in Leek, England, and enjoyed their stay there. On this occasion, our teachers José Martín and Manuel Riesgo were accompanied by three of our most lively students, Laila Dakhouch, Gemma Reoyo and Martín Boyanov.
They were received by the Mayor of the town, who was wearing his best clothes. Outside the town hall, a really amusing character called "summoner" was waiting for them. His job was to bring people together in order to spread all the most important news or announce the arrival of some personality.
At Westwood College, they not only worked hard, but also enjoyed by taking part in a cooking competition.
What a rewarding experience!

Leek fue nuestro tercer destino en las movilidades del proyecto EuConnecTour.Profesores y estudiantes de los diferentes países miembros se reunieron en Leek, Inglaterra, y disfrutaron de su estancia allí. En esta ocasión, nuestros profesores José Martín y Manuel Riesgo fueron acompañados por tres de nuestros estudiantes más enérgicos, Laila Dakhouch, Gemma Reoyo y Martín Boyanov.
Fueron recibidos por el alcalde de la ciudad, que vestía sus mejores galas. Fuera del ayuntamiento, un personaje realmente divertido llamado "summoner" los estaba esperando. Su trabajo consistía en reunir a la gente para difundir las noticias más importantes o anunciar la llegada de alguna personalidad. En Westwood College, no solo trabajaron duro, sino que también disfrutaron participando en una competencia de cocina.

Two of our partners, José Martín and Mª José Alonso, together with two of our best students, Allida Aguilera and María Díaz, have been the lucky four to go to the second transnational meeting of our project, Euconnectour, on behalf of our high school IES BLAS DE PRADO, Spain. This time the meeting has been in Šiauliai, Lituania, and there they have gone, full of energy and enthusiasm. We bet they are making the most of it and learning a lot from this unique experience.

Dos de nuestros compañeros, José Martín y Mª José Alonso, junto con dos de nuestras mejores estudiantes, Allida Aguilera y, han sido los cuatro afortunados en ir a la segunda reunión transnacional de nuestro proyecto Euconnectour, en representación de nuestro instituto IES BLAS DE PRADO, España. Esta vez la reunión ha sido en Šiauliai, Lituania, y allí han ido, llenos de energía y entusiasmo. Apuesto a que están aprovechando al máximo y aprendiendo mucho de esta experiencia única.

After some weeks ofhard competition we finally have a winner logo, the one suggeted by our Italian partners.
A total of 1373 people voted for the logo made by Cinzia Bergamo, a Italian student.
